About AAC Apprenticeship Awards
The FE Week and AELP AAC Apprenticeship Awards are a celebration of excellence in apprenticeship delivery in the UK and provide an opportunity to give the recognition employers and providers deserve.

There is no entry fee for any of our awards

The Awards were established in 2017 as a joint project by FE Week and AELP, with the national awards ceremony taking place at the Annual Apprenticeship Conference Gala Dinner.

Open to all apprenticeship providers and employers in the UK, the apprenticeship awards are competitive with two types of awards, Route Awards and National Awards. The Awards recognise activity up to the end of July 2021.

Our national finalists will be recognised at a special celebratory reception at the Houses of Parliament on Monday, February 21st, hosted by the Rt Hon. Robert Halfon MP.

The National Ceremony will take place on Tuesday 22 March at the Annual Apprenticeship Conference Gala Dinner and Awards Evening.

The key dates for AAC Apprenticeship Awards 2021
  • Nominations Open

    The search for the winners of the 2022 FE Week & AELP AAC Apprenticeship Awards officially commences, with a call for nominations. Entry to the awards is free of charge and submissions can be submitted through our online platform.

  • Nominations Close

    All nominations must be submitted, in full, by the end of Friday 7 January 2022. Stage one of the awards process for 2022 is complete.

    This is the final deadline for the 2022 entires.

  • Review process commences

    All nominations will be reviewed to ensure they’ve been completed correctly and met key award criteria. A long list will then be created in advance of a review from our judges.

  • Judging Panel Convenes

    Judges will meet to fully review this year’s nominations. During the day judges will select a shortlist and select winners for each category.

  • National Finalists Announced

    The National Finanlists will be announced in edition 375 of FE Week.

  • Parliamentary Reception

    A parliamentary reception to recognise this year's national finalists will take place at the House of Commons.

  • National Ceremony

    The national awards ceremony will be on Tuesday 22 March at the Annual Apprenticeship Conference Gala Dinner & Awards Evening. Join us for a fabulous evening celebrating this year's winners. Over 550 people attended the evening in 2020.
